I had the intention to blog but I just could not bring myself to do it. Finally I have some time now while doing duty to update (: But first I would have to recall what I have done for the past few weeks.

Apart from going to Malaysia to visit my grandparents last weekend, I have not been doing much outside work time. Other than my daily games and regular manga and anime, I have been slacking pretty much :p Found a few new things over the net though. Duties this month have been fun, especially those with karthi and junxiang around. It's definitely havoc time haha. Like blasting music from the computers or sharing our jc life. Life is interesting with them around. Truly haha. Sites that I have found include radioblog, a music site with mainly english songs to listen online and several other manga sites, both english and chinese which I found while searching for the chinese version of claymore (manga) online.

It's getting pretty late now, going to sleep at 5 am, shall update later at 7 am when I wake up.

edit: Turned out that I woke up late and could not have time to finish updating, and so here I am to finish my unfinished task. I was looking through my emails just now and I just happened to receive one from yanting with a meaningful story attached to it. Having read the story a long long time, I was tempted to re-read the story once more. The first 17 chapters are available online at http://www.goodybooks.com/ibelieveyou.htm but the ending is not revealed. So to anyone who chance upon my blog with the link, hope you enjoy reading the story.

Back to my work. Over the past two weeks, I tried exploring other alternatives of going home apart from the usual route of taking 90. So this time round, I tried going southwards. Fortunately, with the help of xueli who mentioned that there's 59 available, I was able to find an alternative bus route home (: although it was during peak hour and the bus was pretty crowded, the journey was comparable to taking 90 where the bus would be equally crowded. Anyway I took 59 back home again and since it was in the morning after peak hour, the trip was much faster.

Hoho, it's my second duty on a Sat AM shift,
so far so good, translated a few articles, slack around watching bleach and naruto on crunchyroll haha...
the techies were fixing the computers in the office, so it was quite messy and there were only 3 computers available but we only got Internet access, there was no intranet, so basically there was nothing we could do in the whole morning until they got the things fixed at noon.

I didn't have much sleep yesterday night because I got home late after watching Spiderman 3, but surprisingly I am not feeling tired now. Spiderman 3 was very nice and cool, Tobey Maguire was very funny at some parts of the movie. Although it ended at midnight, it was worth the time spent. I went to watch it with my platoon mates, so we chatted a while to catch up on stuff. In the end, we missed the last train and bus, so we could only wait for the nightriders or nightowls to get home. In the end I took NR1 home after waiting for around 20 minutes. The NR1 ride was quite exciting because it was my first time taking it. It passes by a lot of clubs and pubs where most of the people would still be hanging around after midnight. It was a rather interesting trip for me, at least some experience learnt. So, I reached home at 0100 hours and hence I only slept for 4 hours plus.

Now for some updates this week,
Thursday was an eventful day. Firstly, we played basketball for sports. It was quite daring, because we were not allowed to play contact sports after 3 people got injured within a month last year. Anyway it was a fun and friendly match. I haven't play basketball for almost a year already, so my shooting has gone rusty already haha. But anyway I hope that we can play more such sports in the future. Previously, Ma'am Angie informed us that she wanted to treat us dinner and she had already made reservations. So after sports, we rushed back to change into civilian clothes quickly. Luckily Mark was willing to drive us to Orchard, and from there, we took mrt to City Hall. It was a Peranakan buffet style restaurant called Plaza Market Cafe located at Raffles the Plaze. There was sushi, sashimi, popiah, satay, peranakan food, oysters, clams and salad. The food was quite delicious and the peranakan food was exceptionally spicy. I heard that it was $42++ per person. I wondered why Ma'am wanted to treat the five of us. Nevertheless, it was a good meal and I am sure we enjoyed it all thanks to Ma'am. And one more thing to add, I got the letter from NUS!!! This means I got accepted into both universities. But now, I will have to make a decision between both universities. There's still one month left for me to reply. Hopefully I can be able to get the NUS faculty scholarship. Then it might be easier for me to choose. That's all for now then, but before I go, time for another song, 大哥 by 衛蘭 Janice, it's the chinese version for "Never Let You Go" also sung by 衛蘭. Hope you enjoy...

Damn it, blogger eat my post grrr...
Relax, just have to retype everything again,

It's my first duty and it's a weekend duty, means I can get a day off tomorrow!! It's part of my OJT and so far it has been pretty slack except in the morning where I was doing translation from Indon to English. Otherwise, I was listening to songs over youtube and crunchyroll or playing archmage, haha I set the browser to refresh every 5 minutes, so I can get 1 turn after every refresh. Master Lit was very kind to us, he brought marinated meat and sausages from home and treated us to a barbecue in the pantry, so basically that was our lunch. Duty has been quite slack so far. Maybe it's because there are three of us here. Normally there are only two guys on duty. So if one of them decides to take leave, it would be quite disastrous for the other one. I wonder how it would be like but it is certainly no fun to do everything alone. I wish I would never get that kind of situation.

As mentioned earlier, I was listening to Japanese anime songs over youtube and crunchyroll. I was listening to songs by this Japanese girl in particular, Yui. She is very talented with the guitar and her songs are very nice too. Two of them, Rolling Star and Life, are cool opening and ending themes for Bleach respectively. I will try to embed the youtube videos here if possible. Besides Yui, I also listened to High and Mighty Color, Nami Tamaki etc. If you find the songs nice, do ask me for the songs haha.

Here are some updates for this week,
on Tuesday morning, I went for the NUS faculty scholarship interview. It was quite relaxed and the professors seem impressed by my results but I felt that everyone who applied for this scholarship would have impressive results. It was over in a short while and guess what, I met one of my Taurus Coy PCs there, Desmond!! He was applying for the scholarship as well so he turns out to be competitor haha. So we talked for a while before I had to rush to report back to my unit. Then on Thurs, I received a letter from NTU!! I have been granted a place in NTU Aerospace Engineering, after waiting for this while, finally a confirmation! Now I will just have to wait for the letter from NUS, hopefully it comes with my scholarship confirmation ;) Well, I will just have to wait and see how, there's still one month to go. Nothing significant has happened so far other than this two.

There's 10 more mins before I finish my duty, so it's back to more songs and games then, that's all for now, more updates coming soon, and I can rest tomorrow which means a two day holiday for me!!
See you then,
