Start of enrichment week today, morning had some arts programme. After that I went over to Chinese High (now known as HCI) to play street soccer. It's been a long time since I went there to play. We enjoyed the game although I got my left wrist injured, no worries, it should heal after a few days. Then I went back to school to change because I still had one more programme later at 2 pm. Either our timing was damn accurate or we were so damn lucky that I got to catch this "phenomenon". As I entered the school, I spotted my friend and went over for a talk. Suddenly, someone shouted behind, "The rain is coming!". But weirdly, I felt no raindrops but when I turned around, I saw that over at Chinese High, it was pouring heavily. Then I stood rooted as I watched the rain travel across the road and soon the rain started to fall on my school. What a cool sight that was! Haha, I have never seen it before and it was quite thrilling to view it. Too bad I did not took it down. Well, I went up to canteen to change and have lunch. Then at 2 pm, I went for the "History of MTV" with my friends. It was quite interesting because it showed MTVs from 1970s all the way till modern times, showing how MTVs had evolved over time. I enjoyed it alot, especially the songs. Well, that was what I did today.

On a side note, I just read my friend's blog, a close friend of mine. We had phy skill A last friday, turns out that she did it wrongly and cried in school and all the while I did not realise and was happily playing away. When I read it, I felt upset and blamed myself. That night she was asking me on phy skill A but I slept and did not answer a few of her questions. Perhaps the few answers could have helped her do it correctly. Actually this was not the first time le. I think I am partially at fault. Haiz, what should I do? How can I help her?

That's all le,

finally can update again...
cts are over, so here's a brief summary
Bio: It was ok for me, at least I still can crap out points for the essays but I think max is C only.
Maths: It was damn easy, haha no lah, but to me, it was still easy enough although I did not study :p I think I can still get A although I did not do 19 marks.
Chem: It was the easiest science paper I took this time, I will talk about phy later, haha I am so glad that I got my organic chem last question correct, once you get the first compound right, everything is easy to get le, muahahaha. Too bad I forgot about reaction kinetics and buffers, so anyhow crap some reasonable answer for those parts. Maybe if I am lucky, I can get an A this time.
Phy: Three words, GO DIE LAH/WTF phy paper rocks lor, I did not know how to do the forces question, I did the rest of the questions half-guessingly. The questions I did best were fluids and thermal. Hopefully I can still get B or C.
Math S: Reasonably ok for s paper standard. I left 27 marks blank out of 80 marks, at least can get merit ba :)
Phy Skill A: Haha I finished so early, still got 15 mins left, then I was like enhancing my diagram to make it more presentable.

Oh yeah after phy, I played soccer for a while before rushing home. The technician was down to repair my computer. (yup it's working fine now) Big thanks to him, haha. I took a cab to get home quick cos I was late already. Then I had a nice chat with the cab driver. He told me that cab drivers must be the most patient and cool-tempered of all people because they must handle all kinds of people, absorb whatever they get thrown at (I mean verbally lah), and worse still, they cannot argue back or else people will just threaten to complain to the company. I really pity them, working so hard to send people to all places yet they have to suffer the wrath of people. Only some people are like that but they really should not be doing so.
Drivers see people having problems opening the door, they pull a lever and the door opens, but people starts scolding the drivers, saying the door scared them. When people say their destination, drivers ask them how they want to get there in the fastest way, then people start scolding them, saying that as drivers they should know which way is best. But how do the drivers know which is the desired way, maybe you want to go by another way? When you book a cab, please kindly give accurate and precise instructions as to where you are and if you do not need the cab, please call back to cancel the booking. It's just a simple act and cab drivers do not have to wait and wait when they see no one at the place. I enjoyed chatting with the cab driver. I learnt a few things and in the end he did not charge me for 90 cents. There are so many cab drivers in Singapore. Competition is tough for all of them. They are just trying to earn a living. I hope people can understand and enjoy the ride.

That's all for today,

I guess biology is still not my favourite subject to choose for my major next time. I still prefer mechanical engineering or more precisely, aeronautical engineering. Hmm but after the trip to NUS Science faculty, I might consider food chemistry because it sounds, looks and tastes (lol, food what) interesting. But well, I still have a long time to decide.

With all my distractions gone, I guess this might be an indication to me that I should really get down to my studies. With my sound driver yet to be installed, I had no other sources of music than the radio using my new phone, N6111.

Listening to the radio made me realise something. It has been a long time since I am exposed to new songs. My knowledge of songs is getting less. No doubt, the radio has indeed allowed me to listen to new songs and even songs that I have forgotten. I should really thank my radio or I will be stuck to my playlist only.

I guess I won't be downloading videos so often le, must control myself. Anyway there is not much I can do with the computer now except to go online and chat. I have no MS office yet, means I cannot download any documents uploaded by my teachers. Haiz sian.

Well back to mugging, starting on physics soon, I think I am still on schedule...

Had GP common test yesterday. Essay was ok though. I found myself finishing it way before time and I still had time to read through, darkened my words, edit some expressions before the teacher said "Please finish up your last sentence." I promptly handed up my paper and we had a five minutes break. We were the first class to finish and everyone else were still in their class, haha. Had a short toilet trip and back to class we went. Paper 2 was already set on our tables and everyone proceeded to their seats. I was forced to sit just beside the door lah, that means everytime someone walks past, I would be tempted to look out. However luckily I was determined enough to prevent myself from looking out too many times. Ok, back to the paper. Haiz, I don't know what to say about the paper. Passage was about relationship between ethnics and commercialism. I don't know how much of the passage I understood lah. Oh did I mention that the summary was only 120 words worth 10 marks? Yes I am not blur, 10 marks which means more or less 10 points within 4 paragraphs? I was stunned lah, at least for a while. But never mind, I will settle that later, so I tackled my other questions first, estimating 1 hour to do summary and AQ. Turned out I was ahead of schedule so I started on summary first, anyhow crapped out some related points to make it 115 words then I moved on to my AQ. Then the problem came, I don't know what point to use!! I managed to write out 2 paragraphs of relevant points then I stopped. I looked at the clock, 20 minutes left. Hmm, I can stop and think for a while for the last point. Nothing came to my mind. I read through the passage countless times, searching for one last point to finish off my AQ and my paper. 10 minutes tickled past, finally I randomly took a point from the passage, paraphase it and wrote about it in the context of Singapore and voila, I am done. Time check, 2 minutes left. I kept all my pens, took a sip of water and waited. Yes I am free! Our papers were collected and we retreived our bags and off we went out of the classroom. Well, everyone was depressed by the paper. But anyway I threw everything about GP aside and proceeded for our routine game - soccer! Not many people played though. Then zr and van went to play on the field. Zr influenced van so much that she liked soccer as well, haha. I joined them afterwards, kicked some balls, spotted a potential female soccer player (seriously she's damn good lah, I must admit, at least better than zr :p). I encouraged her to join soccer though I am not part of soccer lol. Then I stayed in school till 3, played basketball with van for a while but both were quite tired so we did not play much, slacked around on the grass, van was complaining how the guys all pang seh her. However I could not stay long and luckily the guys came down to join her. So I left the school with zr and she was so afraid of crossing the bridge alone because of XXX that I had to go with her across and back.

Well, generally I had a reasonably good day yesterday, though I was quite tired. And I haven't finish my chem yet, haiz, my studying mood must kick in or else I can't study!
Heck lar, must force myself to read abit, so long then, will blog more tmr...
