I don't know why I was so emo in the previous post. But I think once I let everything out in that entry, I felt better. =) At least I made myself happy for these two days. I finally got to watch neon genesis evangelion 1.0 - you are (not) alone! I did not watch it in the cinema though, it was available on crunchyroll with english subtitles. I was lucky to find it when I was browsing through the list of latest animes uploaded. Imagine the excitement in me when I saw it. Haha. The last time I watched neo genesis evangelion was so long ago. I think it was when I was in primary school or early secondary school. I remembered it being shown on this television channel which stopped broadcasting after a year or so. And the anime was dubbed in chinese at that time! But I think I was too young to understand what the anime really meant at that age. Probably when I watched it again now, I might understand better. Anyway the movie was actually a remake of the original series into a condensed four part version. The concept and plot of the story remained the same with only slight changes made. So this movie was the first part of the series. The second part is called neon genesis evangelion 2.0 - division. I recalled I was obsessed with mecha-animes when I was younger because the very first few animes I got to watch were mecha ones like gundam wing and neon genesis evangelion. I always thought the robots were so cool when fighting with all the high-tech weapons without actually thinking much about the anime plot at all. Basically I just watched for the fighting scenes. But now, after watching the movie, I was so tempted to go back and watch the whole series again! I have yet to figure out a way though. Haha. Anyway I got to go now. I am still on so late thanks to tomorrow being vesak day! One more day of rest! Haha. Good night to all. Sweet dreams rabbit. Rest more. Nudges. =)

Nudges...
I miss the msn conversations at night.
I miss the nudges and pokes.
I miss the random topics we chat on.
I miss the replies.
They are always so re-assuring to me whenever I read them.
I always look forward to the nudge the moment I come online.
But it's not there now.
Why am I feeling so insecure and inconfident these few days?

Things are going tough for me. Work can turn worse any time soon. This year has not been so smooth for me. But I really need to believe in myself. My physical test is coming and I will pass it once and for all, for my rank, for my hard work and for everything I have put in. Be brave! I will have to confront this anyway. How long more can I wait? It has been three years. When is the right time? I am such a noob. Such a noob at expressing myself. Such a noob at asking. Sigh. =(
I think I am so demanding but I really feel lonely at times. Sorry for being harsh on you.
I shall revert back to my not-so-emo side. It's time for soccer tomorrow back in school with the nj khakis! I haven't played with them for quite some time already. Time to exercise more! Haha. My lcd monitor died on me yesterday night. The screen just appeared for a split second before blacking out for a few seconds and this continued for regular intervals endlessly. Actually my brother discovered the problem first, then I tried a little bit of troubleshooting for quite some time before all of a sudden, the screen restored itself! Then everything was perfectly fine until I shut down the computer at 1am. However the next morning, when my brother decided to turn on the computer, the problem came again. So he tried waiting to see whether anything would happen but to no avail. After we came back from breakfast, I decided to switch on the computer again and leave it there while I went to play carrom with my cousins. I checked the computer once a while, hoping that the screen would restore itself again. In the end, the problem persisted, so we decided to replace the monitor. Fortunately, we kept the monitor of my old computer which broke down years ago. So I went to unplug all the related ports of the monitor and remove the whole monitor with my brother's help. Then we transferred the old monitor over and I plugged in all the ports. Four years of experience as av rep during my secondary school days really helped here. So now, instead of my flat lcd monitor, I am using a cathode ray tube monitor! Haha. It's time to get a new monitor then or maybe a new computer?

I finally finished reading all the chapters of d.gray-man until the latest chapter! I spent almost five days reading from chapter 1 to chapter 157. Haha. It is a great manga series indeed.
I went to play soccer on wednesday during sports and got myself two injuries as a result. The first was a cut to my head, right on the pimple above the right eye. So the pimple is now more swollen than before. The second was a bad scrape to my left knee after I executed a last-ditch sliding tackle. The scrape is slightly larger than a fifty cent coin. Then some liquid kept flowing out of the wounded skin even two days after the injury. So I am walking with a slight limp now because I cannot bend my left knee that well with the wound right on my kneecap area. I just hope it recovers in time for me to start running on monday.
Anyway, yesterday was labour day, one of the few days where my father did not have to work. So we went for our annual family outing over at east coast park! Basically it was cycling along east coast park from the lagoon area until the changi safra resort and back. We decided not to continue on the route until changi beach park because it was another five kilometres away. Then
something unfortunate occurred to my bike. My pedal came loose and dropped off! My uncle managed to fix the pedal back temporarily so that I could cycle back to the starting location. After that, I took a break while my cousins and my brother went to the beach to play. It was six plus by the time we packed up everything and left. After that, we decided to have dinner at the new hawker centre which just opened this year following the completion of the forty-storeyed hdb flats opposite toa payoh central. According to my parents, the duck rice sold there was from a famous stall called you ji. So naturally, all of us ordered duck rice to eat. After dinner, we decided to venture to the fortieth storey to see for the first time how the view was like from the top storey. First we took the lift to the twenty-first storey and I thought the lift was already moving very quickly. But when we switched over to the other lift which could bring us to the top floor, the lift moved at such an incredible speed. It was zooming past the floors until it reached the top floor. Then at the top floor, the wind was blowing strongly but the view was simply magnificent. The view extends much further as compared to the view at the twentieth floor. I believe malaysia can be fairly visible but I cannot confirm anything because all the buildings are just specks of lights from far. Imagine being at the highest point of a town and when you look around yourself, all the other buildings are so low and the shophouses way below look just like models. Haha. It was a fun experience to look at the surroundings from high above.
I got home and took a quick shower. Then I was out again, off to thomson road to meet with xinran and the class guys. Xinran came back to singapore from canada for a week so the guys met up with him over at the roti prata house at upper thomson road. So there was me, xinran, liyuan, zhenghan, hongwei and jenyi. We sat down, ordered our pratas and chatted. It is now common knowledge that when you are in a group with guys in ns, the only thing they talk about is ns. Haha. It was funny listening to how liyuan was kpkb-ing about his ns. He is still the same as ever. I guess everyone has not changed a lot. Just a few more months to go, everyone! =)
So this sums up my labour day yesterday. I am on leave today to take care of the household and here I am, preparing dinner again for my family. But this time round, dinner is easier to prepare because my mother already cooked the soup and braised meat in the morning before she went to work. So all I have to do is to heat them up! Haha. Back to dinner then.
