Back again...just changed my blog song (:
Here's featuring Gabriella from High School Musical - When There Was Me And You
The lyrics can be found below, I will add it at the end of this post (:
The song takes a while to load and it can only be heard on Internet Explorer.
[edit: Song can be heard on Mozilla Firefox as well ;) I edited the script]

Back to topic...
I managed to catch High School Musical when I came back from duty yesterday night. Although I missed the front part, I sat through the whole musical till the ending. And I must say, it was a nice show indeed and the songs were so meaningful, just like the one Gabriella sang. And it was a happy ending after all. It may have been a high school love story musical but I still liked it.
And High School Musical 2 is coming out next month!! But I guess that it would be a while before it will be shown in Singapore.

Anyway there's so much I am thinking right now but I just can't seem to put them down in words. Probably blogger's block at its best haha. And there's not much time left now, have to sleep soon. I must maintain my habit of sleeping before midnight on weekdays *grins* and *shoots You-Know-Who a concerning look that sleeping LATE is a not a good habit* :p
That's all for now, back to re-read Harry Potter, promised to return Nik the book tomorrow.
So, before I end, here are the lyrics

Gabriella - When There Was Me And You

It's funny when you find yourself
Looking from the outside
I'm standing here but all I want
Is to be over there
Why did I let myself believe
Miracles could happen
Cause now I have to pretend
That I don't really care

I thought you were my fairytale
A dream when I'm not sleeping
A wish upon a star
Thats coming true
But everybody else could tell
That I confused my feelings with the truth
When there was me and you

I swore I knew the melody
That I heard you singing
And when you smiled
You made me feel
Like I could sing along
But then you went and changed the words
Now my heart is empty
I'm only left with used-to-be's
Once upon a song

Now I know your not a fairytale
And dreams were meant for sleeping
And wishes on a star
Just don't come true
Cause now even I tell
That I confused my feelings with the truth
Cause I liked the view
When there was me and you

I can't believe that
I could be so blind
It's like you were floating
While I was falling
And I didn't mind

Cause I liked the view
Thought you felt it too
When there was me and you

Au revoir

Hmm I promised to blog, so here I am now...
Busy reading Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, now at chapter 26 (;
I just like the way she wrote the book and how everything unravels chapter by chapter as she offered explanations for everything that had happened so far to Harry Potter. It was pretty difficult for me to stop reading the book to do my work. I took great effort to do so, only to return to the book moments later. I must really really really thank nik for lending me the book for the day (haha he's just sitting opposite me)!!! No spoilers here for anyone, be rest assured although I presume I am one of the slowest to finish the book. Wikipedia is a pretty good site to get spoiled though. Well I think I shall stop here first to carry on with my book. I will update later when I get back home.

Au revoir...

Ok, I am finally back, got too caught up with whatever's happening in the book, and I finished it finally *grins* I am planning to re-read it again tomorrow. Well, it is really really really a good book. I am impressed at how everything was revealed and explained. Totally impressed. I was fixed to my place, reading the book continuously, which explains why I am still here, yet to fall asleep. I am sure my heart is still beating at a quicker pace than usual after all that excitement in the book. At last, time to put the book aside and to tuck myself in bed. I will probably be unable to forget the scenes in the story. More to come tomorrow and I shall end with Harry's signature spell (:

Hi,
I am back after a week to blog about our movie outing last Fri to watch Transformers!!!

The movie at 1905hrs and tickets were already booked at 8 dollars beforehand thanks to safra ;) So after work, we figured the shortest route would be to go by NEL from Potong Pasir to Dhoby Ghaut. When we reached Plaza Singapura, we still had roughly an hour to spend, so we went to have dinner at Manhattan Fish Market. It was my first time there. Although the Manhattan fish and chips was cheaper than Fish & Co's, some of us, including me, felt that the dish at F & C would have been relatively better. Well I wouldn't know about the rest of the dishes, so I would probably go back some other time to try the other dishes but that would surely burn a hole in my pocket ):

So after the meal, the timing was just right. We entered the cinema, found our seats and waited. As usual movie previews and advertisements lasted as long as 15 mins. Well the starting scene of the movie was enough to take one's breathe away. Watching how Blackout (I will introduce the characters later) take out the whole US base was seriously damn exciting. Overall I would say the movie was very very exciting. The graphics and motions were very well done. Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky) acted pretty well and Megan Fox (Mikaela) was so hot! As the plot developed, it was spiced up with comedic scenes that left us laughing at one point of time while glued to the screen at another as the final battle unravelled. I really enjoyed the movie although some battle scenes were pretty confusing.

There were changes to the original Transformers. Bumblebee is a Chevrolet Camaro, not a Volkswagen Beetle, Megatron is a Cybertron jet, no longer a Walther P38 rifle. Had he been a rifle, he would be very very lousy I guess. Robots use missiles and rockets to battle (Matrix and kungfu moves included) instead of lasers and force fields. Well, at least they used the name Witwicky which was the main human character in Transformers G1 series. Optimus Prime was voiced by the same person in the cartoon series too.

Now time to introduce the Transformers!!!
Autobots:
Autobots Leader OPTIMUS PRIME

Autobots 2IC JAZZ
(He got ripped up by Megatron in the final battle but he could be back)

Autobots All-Time Favourite BUMBLEBEE

Autobots Weapons Spec IRONHIDE

Autobots Medic RATCHET

Decepticons:
Decepticons Leader MEGATRON

Decepticons 2IC Starscream

Decepticons BARRICADE
(The bad police car)

Decepticons Spy FRENZY

Decepticons BONECRUSHER
(Too bad, he got thrashed by Optimus and his axe)

Decepticons BLACKOUT

Too bad I couldn't find any decent pictures for Brawl and Scorponok, both Decepticons ):
That's about all for now,

Hello,

"It's 0512 now and I haven't slept a single bit =X
There's a lot of work today, not surprising at all though, judging from the recent developments in the world, resignation of Japanese DM, appointment of Japan's first female DM, UK terror bombings and many others."

Finally woke up from my long long sleep on my bed, was too tired when I reached home this morning. I didn't even have time to blog at work and I only slept like about an hour. Work was alright though I made some mistakes here and there, mistakes which I will definitely learn from them to improve on in the future.

Back on last Sat, I went to Kallang Stadium with Sufyan and Glenn to watch Singapore vs Australia friendly, the final match at the stadium before it will be demolished for the sports hub to be built. It was truly a different experience from watching the match live on television. Listening to the Kallang Roar, be part of the Kallang Wave, cheering on for the teams, groaning at every chance missed - it's a total new experience for me. The Lions played well against Australia even though they lost by 3-0. There were good saves by Lewis and brilliant chances for Indra and Khairil Amri but both hit either the bar or post. Playing against Australian players who, for some of them, are playing for clubs in top flight premiership football, it is definitely a good experience for the Lions. A 3-0 scoreline just shows the difference in terms of technique and tactics. Nonetheless, the Lions still deserved our respect for fighting hard in this match. Mark Viduka scored a brace, both headers while Harry Kewell added one in between both goals. Australian players who played in the EPL and Serie A included Mark Viduka, Harry Kewell, Lucas Neill, Mark Bresciano.

After the match ended, there was a closing ceremony for the stadium where they commemorated all the athletes who contributed significantly to Singapore realm of sports since the national stadium opened. Every time an athlete was introduced, the crowd roared and applauded. Then, a video was shown in which every memory of the national stadium was displayed. The scene was quite touching. The national stadium bears all the memories of athletes who had persevered to achieve results for Singapore. Finally the ceremony ended with fireworks over the East stand. To be able to catch the final match at the national stadium is something I will definitely remember. Thanks to Sufyan and Glenn for asking me out to watch the match haha. Pictures coming right up!!
