I went for my first 8 km run yesterday after work with soonheng and junxiang. Thanks to them, they made me run all the way to touch the barricade before turning back. It was initially agreed that I was to turn back with them when I see them coming back from the barricade. Instead, they assured me that the turning point was only a short distance away which indeed it was. If not for their encouragement, I would have probably started walking after turning back because my knees were seriously aching. My endurance paid off after all, and the long-distance run also relieved me of my stitch at the start of the run. Surprisingly, when I reached the 1.2 km turning point, my knees did not ache and I was able to increase my pace a little bit. The familiar surroundings sort of boosted my morale and I picked up speed as we finished the final 1.2 km of the run. Both of them were surprised I still had strength to increase my speed at the end. *Grins*

Anyway I was surprised my muscles did not ache yesterday night or this whole morning. But just as I reached home after work. A flex of my thigh brought the ache which I was missing for. As usual, I can never run away from the ache and that would probably put off running for tomorrow as well. A big thanks to both soonheng and junxiang for being willing to run with me, though they are training for their full marathon as well. Thankew brudders haha!!!

Come on, it's time to lose weight! I must run!!!
Time to go now, I must not neglect my blog haha, more updates to come...
